She finds here greatest inspiration from the Modernist painters like Munch, Florine Stettheimer, Nils Dardel and interior designer Josef Frank. A unique blend of naivety and the most serious matters of life are often dancing side by side in her work. An interest in people and their feelings are of utmost importance. How to make a sad memory into one you can look upon with ease is a mission Sara takes upon herself. She simply wants people to become happier or less lonely as they look at her art. In Sara's words: “I work in layers and without shadows — like the cartoon-maker I tell tragic stories that make you laugh at times. I want your home to look even more beautiful with one of my art prints.”
